Candice Hamel

Candice Hamel  B Mus (flute)

Candice is a graduate of Trinity College of Music, London and The Royal Conservatoire, The Hague.

She studied under world class flautists including Wissam Boustany, Karen Jones and Rien de Reede.

As an orchestral player Candice has played in the following venues:

  • Royal Concertgebouw, Amsterdam
  • Konzerthaus, Berlin
  • The Royal Festival Hall and The Barbican, London
  • The National Concert Hall, Ireland.
  • She has given numerous recitals around the United Kingdom and Ireland and has made several broadcasts for RTE.

    Her theatrical experiences includes playing for ‘Sweeney Todd’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

    Ruby Aspinall

    Ruby Aspinall   B Mus (harp)

    At the age of nine Ruby won a scholarship to study at the Purcell School with Charlotte Seale. She subsequently continued at Trinity College of Music with Sioned Williams and Gabriella dal’Olio.

    As a soloist she has performed at Buckingham Palace for the Royal Investitures, the Reform Club anniversary celebrations, Clivedon House and Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh.

    As an orchestral player she has played at the London Coliseum, Royal Festival Hall, St. Paul’s Cathedral and St. John’s Smith Square.

    Her extensive experience as a theatre musician includes playing for ‘The Hired Man’, awarded TMA Best Musical 2004. Ruby has made film and TV recordings with BBC Wales and the Musican’s Directive.

    At the age of seventeen she was awarded First Prize for the Young Composer’s Award of Wales.
