Ruby Aspinall B Mus (harp)
At the age of nine Ruby won a scholarship to study at the Purcell
School with Charlotte Seale. She subsequently continued at Trinity
College of Music with Sioned Williams and Gabriella dal’Olio.
As a soloist she has performed at Buckingham Palace for the Royal
Investitures, the Reform Club anniversary celebrations, Clivedon
House and Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh.
As an orchestral player she has played at the London Coliseum,
Royal Festival Hall, St. Paul’s Cathedral and St. John’s
Smith Square.
Her extensive experience as a theatre musician includes playing
for ‘The Hired Man’, awarded TMA Best Musical 2004.
Ruby has made film and TV recordings with BBC Wales and the Musican’s
Directive.
At the age of seventeen she was awarded First Prize for the Young
Composer’s Award of Wales.
